Why three ravens?
In Norse mythology, Odin kept two ravens, Huginn and Muninn: thought and memory. Every day they flew across the world and came back to tell him what they had seen.
That’s a good description of what organisations now need from AI governance: someone watching what is really happening and reporting back honestly. We added a third raven for assurance, because seeing and remembering is only useful if you can prove it.
The name also reflects our Danish roots and a belief that governance should be practical, plain-spoken and built to last.
Our founder
John Haagensen
John founded TriCorvus after a career building channel and alliance partnerships across EMEA in IT service management, working with partner ecosystems including ServiceNow, BMC, Ivanti and Freshworks.
Over that time he watched AI move from pilot projects into almost every tool organisations buy. TriCorvus exists to help mid-market organisations catch up with that change calmly and properly, and to give IT partners a credible way to help their clients do the same.
